QUICK Steps
STEP 1. Download and install Megamix2008
STEP 2. Run the Megamix Control Panel
After downloading and installing Megamix2008 your
first step is to open the Soundsoft Control
Panel.
STEP 3.
Create a new
NORMAL account and select pay option
From the Control Panel choose the [Create a new
DEMO or NORMAL account] option. To complete the
operation you need to have connection to the
internet and an active e-mail address where the
details of your account can be sent to.
a)
If you would like to create a new DEMO
account in order to trial Megamix, just click
[Create new DEMO account] and fill in the
necessary data. Send your data to Soundsoft and
you will receive a response e-mail within 24 – 48
hours including your Customer ID, Password and
Serial Number.
b)
If you would like to create a new NORMAL
account, click [Create new
NORMAL account]
and fill in all necessary data. In the next step
you can choose the products you would like to
subscribe to, and the subscription period (6 months, 12 months, 24 months or 60
months). If you subscribe to a period longer than
12 months, you can also take advantage of our FREE
MONTHS extra offer! For example if your Soundsoft
subscription is for 12 months, you are entitled to
an extra 2 months for free of charge. So instead of
paying subscription fee for 14 months, now you
only pay 12 months! Choose the payment method you
prefer and send data to Soundsoft. You will
receive a response e-mail within 24 – 48 hours
including your Customer ID, Password and Serial
Number.
c)
You can easily convert your free DEMO
account into a NORMAL account by choosing the
[Transformation of account from demo to normal] on
the Soundsoft Account Manager.
STEP 4.
Activate your Megamix

After receiving your SOUNDSOFT ACTIVATION
CART
by e-mail, you must activate the program.
To complete this operation you need to have
connection to the internet.

In order to activate the program from the
Soundsoft Control Panel please choose the
[Activate and create a new KEY file for this
terminal] option.

Fill in your Customer ID, Password and
Serial Number for activating your work
station terminal. Then activate all the other
terminals the same way.
Repeat this activation process for every serial
number you have.
STEP 5. Run
Megamix

Now
you are able to open Megamix. Go to the
STATIONS dialogue and activate your on-air
module as well (if any).

Subscription renewals may be purchased prior to
the Subscription expiration date. Upon the
renewal of your Subscription, the new
subscription period start date will be the date
immediately following the date of expiration of
your then-current Subscription. Failure to renew
your Subscription prior to expiration will
result in cancellation of your Subscription.

Troubleshooting
-
If
Megamix performs that it cannot connect to
database, check if you have downloaded and
installed the SQLExpress and other recommended
Microsoft software.
If you have Windows XP and you already have
installed some of the below programs you do not
need to install them again.

Installer 3.1 Redistributable (v2)
2.Microsoft .NET Framework Version 2.0 Redistributable Package
3.Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition
4.DirectX 8.0 Redistributable

If you have installed the SQLExpress and you
still have problem connecting to the Database,
open the Control Panel, choose the SQL page,
click on Attach/Detach SQL Database, click
Connect and after connecting try Detach Database
and again Attach until you see the message:
Successful Attach. Then run Megamix.
